Ingredients

100g       butter (Plant based butter works too).
1Tbsp    Syrup
1 Tbsp   Honey
75g          Brown sugar
50g          Oats
50g          Crushed bran flakes (you can use cornflakes too)
50g          Hemp Hearts
50g          Hemp Protein powder (either 40 or 50%)
30g          Mixed seeds
40g          Dried Cranberries

Method

  • Grease a tin (size)
  • Place the butter, sugar, syrup and honey in a pan and melt slowly
  • Crush the bran flakes and add to all remaining dry ingredients and mix well
  • Mix the dry ingredients into the liquid and stir well
  • Squash into your prepared tin and level off with the back of a spoon
  • Bake in a moderate oven (180) for 13 minutes or until you just see the edges starting to brown, if you over cook they will go hard once cold.
  • Cut into 12 squares while warm, leave in the tin to cool completely, cut right through then store in an airtight tin.
